Mother’s Day is this Sunday, are you planning a brunch? That’s always a nice idea, but instead of a traditional brunch menu, why not surprise mom with a fun Spanish-themed fiesta with tapas and wine. Dress up the table with some beautiful decor, like a floral centerpiece arrangement with a mixture of bright orange, yellow and/or red flowers. This can also be used as a gift for mom to take home afterwards.

For the menu, switch out a few classic brunch dishes with some traditional Spanish ones, like these:

Instead of a simple cheese and meat platter appetizer, arrange a tray of Manchego or Iberico cheese, Serrano ham, Jamon or prosciutto, mixed marinated olives, roasted almonds and a jar of Quince paste.

Offer a few savory finger foods, like Stuffed Mushrooms, Roasted Figs Wrapped in Bacon, and Sizzling Garlic Shrimp.
